PORTFOLIO PDF FAQ
CHOOSE THE SHARING TARGET

WHY THE FINAL FILE VARIES
A pack can aim for a file-size target, but it cannot erase the difference between a compact image set and a long case study with large source media. Treat the target as a guide for choosing the export, not a guarantee printed on the file.
Start with the sharing constraint. Use Standard when there is no strict limit. Use Email when a smaller attachment matters. Use Recruiter or Client review when you need a larger, cleaner PDF. Use High quality archive when preserving source dimensions matters more than keeping the file small.
If the file still feels heavier than the moment allows, change the sharing target or simplify the project selection before assuming that lower quality is the only answer.
WHERE EXPORTFOLIO FITS
ExportFolio exposes Standard, Email, Recruiter, Client review, and High quality archive presets. The 5 MB, 10 MB, and 25 MB presets use “aims for” language because final size depends on the source media.
